Here is a good pic of their narrow riser TrueX nock. It's a one piece setup.

I do like this one piece design.

Any word on the trigger? Is it your typical long creepy take up, heavy trigger?

Thanks,
Mike
Looks great Tom! Can't wait to hear how you like your new toy!!!

Mike, I have Barnett trigger techs and have owned Ten Point T4/T5 triggers. My favorite is Trigger Tech but minor at best vs T4/T5. To me this can get subjective per the Xbows I've owned. When I had USA built BearX Torrix I had no issues with that trigger. Not saying it will be the same but I'll find out soon enough.

I'll know what to look for when I get the BearX Constrictor Strata in my hands. Will be having fun with this one and will share my ownership field tests when I get it.

They should have them in stock now. Or some of them. Not sure which one your pre-ordered but I saw the Strata listed in stock on Bear's website and true to form they said these would be released in December. Might want to check with SG on the status of your order. Good luck!

It's a ManKung Gen 2 trigger box so it's genetics are 5/8" creep and 5-9 lbs break pressure. I'll venture a guess that it's 5 lbs or more with the 190lb draw and sharp string angles. The good news is we know that can be improved if it needs to be. ;)

Thanks Tom,

I'm definitely getting a new crossbow next year and glad to see Bear come out with some great looking new crossbows with pretty impressive specs.

I've never shot a crossbow with a "good" trigger, but it sure would be nice if my next one had one.

Mike
OK Tom..two bow rule eh?!? Just let me know when youre ready to get rid of that TS370 for about half price like you did with your other one.;):)
Two of the same xbow only counts as one and spare parts.

I ordered the Constrictor CDX Veil Stoke about a month ago and was told it would be in before Christmas.

TX-RDXguy, you got that right and I won't hesitate sending to you regardless of warranty.

As soon as I get this crossbow:
1. Test this setup with factor accessories
2. Chrono the speed with 385 grain OEM arrows, 400grain Zoombi Slayers, 425grain Victory Decimators
3. Install HHA Optimizer, dial in at 20 yards, set pin and tape for 60 yards
4. Test out the factor Scope at 20 and 60 yards using the 20 yard CH.
5. inspect strings and servings
6. Evaluate rope cocker and cocking sled
7. Evaluate the narrow nock setup vs my past two piece Alpha nock. I'll weigh them both.
8. Evaluate the trigger box. If it's noticeably heavy that impacts my accuracy I'll send out to TX-RDXguy and have him work his magic.
9. Shoot long range
10. I will test out the TrueX Arrows at 20 and sixty on HHA.
11. I do expect cam lean when cocked because of the Xbow design. Not good or bad as long as I can shoot factory spec 385gr arrows. I've seen it done on video so I have no concerns.

If I'm missing anything please advise.
