Last week was a good week it turns out.
Yesterday I took this buck in my first set in a climber on a ridge top whiteoak plateau. My trailcam showed buck activity so I decided it was time. He came to me about 6pm providing me a broadsided shot at 12 yards. The Ripper 415 delivered the Spitfire bladed Xbolt which passed thru striking an oak tree and blowing into pieces.
The POI was thru each front leg at the top of the heart and thru each fung. He limped out to about 60 yards and perspired quickly.
Yes last week was a fine week with perfect conditions the entire week here in NE Arkansas.
Good luck,
Spot
