Hey guys

the acudraw pro cord on my Stealth is about to break.

I ordered 2 new replacement cords off amazon and plan to trim the cover of the acudraw as I think it’s rubbing there.

has anyone tried a different material?

reason I ask is I leave for moose in 2 weeks and if it doesn’t show I can’t take the risk of drawing it again.

Has anyone used D loop material? I’ve got a bunch of bcy #24

I have 2 cords from 10pt coming ... hopefully before I leave says between sept8-14 I leave the 16th and would like to shoot it probably 20 more times

I've always used 2mm Dyneema - breaking strength is about 600#.

I think BCY#24 is D-Loop material for compound bows - not sure what the strength is.

If you didn’t live in Canada I’d send you a piece - shipping is crazy.

Ended up just talking to a guy from BCY and he said the breaking strength roughly 320# for the 24

700# + for the original spectra cord that came on it.

he recommended the same product Marty did.

ill call lancaster and see how fast I can get that

Lancaster Archery is pretty quick at shipping but it's going to cost you... if it's worth it to you, which I'd say it is, then go for it. You only live once.

I would get a longer spool and make each side long enough to still have a couple of wraps on the spool when the sled is hooked up. That should take the pressure off the knot.

Found replacement crank rope for Excalibur C2 crank

looking into it and it’s also got a breaking strength of 750 And 8’2” long

It’s only a 1/2 hour drive... I may go later

I went with Excalibur’s cord
looks identical other than color
Breaking strength the same
Changed out really easy... made it a bit longer for an extra wrap.
Putting it under the screw didn’t seem like the best way, but I pulled as hard as I could and it held... I was sweating cranking it for the first time, but it held.

Is that the new cord already frayed?
Just this week I got a roll of that stuff Marty had for my kids Orion. Man these accudraws are a bad hidden design but, years ago they were what was available.

I have a 500ft roll of the 750# BYC spectra that I use to repair accudraw cords on scorpyd bows

If you havent already ordered give me a call I thing it cost like $0.35 a foot wholesale priority mail is about $8.00

I'm about 99% sure its the same stuff Excalibur uses

Muskykris, I have a new srealth nxt and my cord looked just like yours after less than 50 shots. I called TenPoint and they sent a new cord. I called on a Tuesday and it was in my hands the following Monday. So far, no more issues.

No the new cord is brown
I was just showing the old cord which had about 100 shots on it

I opened up the window on both sides where the string could possibly rub.

checked the wheel for burrs, I couldn’t see anything other than it rubbing the plastic covers.... and they are a very soft plastic... almost rubber.

Thanks, but I got a new cord and 2 more on the way.

I have a 2019 model Stealth NXT with the AcuDraw Pro and I’ve burned through two TP strings already. I shoot only to site in before archery season, then hunting, so neither string saw more than maybe 20 shot? How can TP just ignore this issue?

I think it’s the Allen bolt holding the hubs on that are chafing the string

I think I’m going to put nail polish over them to smooth them out

the other issue is getting this string to hold under the set screw, what a piss poor design.

glad I checked before I drew it a 2nd time... it had come off from under the screw

If I can’t get it to stay I may try these under the allen head screw
