AeroRest on Scopryd

I have been testings this for a while. Since I made the Ravin AeroRest, many had asked why not also use it on a Scorpyd. I agree, real question is not why not, but when. I have design a bracket that comers with 2 10-32 screws that you cam screw through the 3 screw riser foot stirip. The key for this is that the arrow need to be about 1/32" to 1/64" above the barrel at the very front after it is cocked and the nock need to be tight to the string and you need a really good and true center pull sled. Very much like the Death stalker as the the rail is no longer the guiding factor. It is not in the web store, so if you want one, you need to call or email me. I have not decide on the price yet, I only made a hundred and those who know this have already been playing with it since mid October, 2019. It only work on 3 hole aluminum Scorpyd bows at this time.

Would this work on the Nemesis 480 with Crank AD?

The nemesis is an aluminum rail with 3 screw on the stirip, right? So it fits. The one in the picture is a Aucleus

What are the benefits?

Why? The bow is already extremely accurate.

That's why I asked what are the benefits.

I new it would bolt on. The reason I was asking was you stated it needed a true center pull sled and was curious if the Aerocrank AD sled qualified? And as others asked, what are the benefits?
IMO this would hinder accuracy , why would you want something contacting the arrow after it leaves the string and barrel ?
Tuning nightmare !!!!

A tunable rest makes sense on a vertical bow, they dont have a barrel like a crossbow. In my opinion the full rail crossbow will out perform a semi railess or adjustable rest with far less headaches.

I agree, there's no problems with accuracy with Scorpyd crossbows. They really don't need anything else to improve it. It's like trying to fix something that dosent need fixed. I wish you would figure out a way to improve the Brace Height on the Nemesis so there's not so much downward pressure on the rail and solve the premature serving wear instead. I'm not being smart, I'm trying to put the focus where it needs to be. I've been working on making a stronger center serving thread and have found a good material to use. It's just hard to work with. I've already broken 2 serving jigs wrapping it on the strings.

The real reason for an AeroRest is to not use the arrow retainer. You need to talk with the people who has retainer issues. Thus the arrow rest...getting more accuracy is not the real reason, getting more consistency is. And for those who are happy with what they already have, this is not for you for sure. This is for those who believe they have a problem that need solved. Then, like every thing we at Firenock make and sold, if you ever acquire anything that we make, and within 30 days you decided that it is not worth the money you spend, you are GUARANTEE to get a refund as long as you send it back! So it is not a going to be money wasted, but time to learn what you may be missing!

It looks like the cock vane is making contact with the rest in the picture.

If that is the case then fit it to the DS models and leave the full rail bows alone .
JMO Dorge , arrow retention arms on the full rail bows have no issues that i have ever seen .
I actually like a little more pressure on my arrow than most .
You are 100% correct when you say it aint for me ,LOL .

So it's just being used to hold the arrow down on the rail instead of the retainer.

Dorge, its great that you have finally addressed the retainer issue. Yes ...the issue I was told over and over didnt exist. Not sure why your putting this rest on the full rail bows..its the others that need consistency.

No it looks like there's about 1/8 distance between the 2 if you look real close.

The tip of the vane looks bent to my eyes Marty.

Do you and Dorge have a private feud?
