I am seriously considering taking anTenPoint Turbo M1 bow on an international hunt in August. The only case found that will hold this bow with the 18-20 inch cam edge width is the Plano Manta, Has anyone had experience flying with this case? Will it be safe to use? With the doubled airfares since last October, a newer smaller bow will have to wait. If not a good idea, it’s back to a rifle hunt.

I would think your TP would fit in the much smaller Plano Spire case. It is lockable for flight. That Manta is a BEAST.
Yes, it will hold extra gear, like your 4-wheeler and your Yeti, but it's HUGE!! 🤣😂
Give a look at the Spire. I put a Micro series bow from Excalibur in one when I'm on the road.
Works great for me.

Thanks. will check it out. As long as it will stand up to the airline baggage gorillas, smaller is better.

The riser on the limbs fit very tightly on the stock making it difficult to assemble and disassemble even using a rubber mallet. I’m currently thinking of taking it to a local service center to see if this is a problem. If fixable, and another smaller case can’t be found, i may just disassemble it and find a smaller hard suitcase type case.

Thanks. I just wrote your support group regarding assembly/ disassembly. It's a Turbo M1 and the fit of the riser/limbs onto the stock is so tight it takes a rubber mallet to seat or remove it. Is that normal or does it need to go in for maintenance? It's a new bow.

Possibly too much coating or dipping. I had that experience with a Barnett crossbow when
trying to remove the limbs and limb rockers when new to lubricate that area. With care, I
was able to pry the limbs out.

Wishing you all the best.
Take care.
