Good luck with him.
Blew a chance at his younger buddy, yesterday . Dude came cruising by right at 0815; right on time. Gave me a broadside at 25 yards; DRAT-string blew up, arrow buckled and went ten feet. Dry fire sounded like a 30-06. Buck jumped about 15 feet; stopped and looked around saying what the ---- was that? Walked back to where he had been grazing and continued with breakfast. I just sat in the blind fuming! Talk about frustration! Sat there with three arrows and a busted bow string for 20 minutes until he finished breakfast and wandered off down into the park. Jumped in the car and "beat feet" to the local pro shop and had a new string installed in about an hour including a chrono check to be sure the optimizer tape would not have to be changed. Got home, re-zeroed 20 yards and checked 30 yards; right on.
Back to the blind, but a doe with two fawns was standing in the driveway. Carefully eased past her and parked while she and the kids watched me take my gear back to the blind. Watched her and friends skirt around the one acre lot where I parked the car and disappear into the park about 80 yards to my right. Frequently, when deer follow that path they eventually pop out again 45 yards in front of my blind, but this time a front brought in a drizzle and I "threw in the towel". Oh woe!
