It is good stuff for the center serving on a continuous application regimen. It dosent soften the material up and keeps in conditioned. I ran across the link I had saved on my browsers clipboard so I thought I'd post it for easy access for whoever needs some...

It's what I use
I apply it whenever the center serving feels dry. I don't think there's a certain amount of shots that will dictate when to apply some. I don't restrict myself like that. You can just feel it and know when it's in need of some.
It also dosent hurt to add some extra powdered graphite to the center serving right after applying some because when its tacky the powder will stick better and give it even more resistance. I just do this for my troubled bow, the Nemesis. My DS is fine. I don't have any issues with it...
