Hello all my fiancé surprised me by getting a Bruin 345 delivered a couple days ago so we could shoot together.

How cool is that!!!!

I put it together, used the cross speed scope from my TS390. Everything looked great. She shot about 25x she loves it.

Took it out again today for a shooting session and noticed the serving dropped onto the rail and now the string has serious pressure from the rail now, to where you can actually see the string bend over the rail. (When I put it together there was a gap between the string and rail.). I’m sure the string stretched a bit.

How does one shim to relieve this pressure and raise the string?

Check the bolt that holds the riser on the front,, Pull the string up off the rail or put a small piece of 2 by 4 under the string loosen the bolt 1/4 turn and then tighten it real good...
