Before you replace the broken cable, take a bright light and a Q-tip and go over the limbs
checking for any tiny splinters. Using a Q-tip if there are any it will snag. Inspect the riser
looking for any hair line cracks. Check the cams where the bowstring and or cables fit for
any chips, bends or sharp edges. See if the cams spin free with no wobble. A wobble can
indicate a bent axle, damaged bushing or bearing or an over size axle hole as a result of
a manufacture fault.
If everything proves out and you have the replacement cable installed, the cams have to be
timed and leveled when the crossbow is in the cocked position.
Wishing you all the best.
Take care.
