Does anyone know if you can buy the cocking aid hooks buy them selfs. I didn't want the alumiun ones i read about. One of my rollors sticks a little and doesn't roll to good and it frayed my string. I bought some amsteel string and would like to change the hook(s). But can't find them anywhere.
Thanks in advance
I have a ibex excalibur.
(Sorry about the spelling)

yes, I sprayed some wd40 on them and it helped a little, but there is a small gap between the roller and plastic I put a small knife in and pushed the roller in the opposite direction and it rolls free then it works it way back to the other side and sticks again. I figure the roller or the pin mush have a little wear on that side or the pin might have a tiny bend from the pressure pulling the rope.

I just figure with all the cocking aids out there from all kinds of mfg someone would sell the hooks by them self.

I agree with Robertyb, and use 3 in 1 oil. Also maybe try switching the hooks, there may be something rubbing on the side of that roller. Just a thought,...Lloyd
