You want to put the hooks under the string. Doing that way, you can see that the hooks are fugly engaged. It's more important when you decock.

I run one up and one down on my rope in a clockwise fashion as to coincide with the rotation of the earth, this way the matrix will throw them away from me should a catastrophic occurrence come about!!! LMAO - just being a smart a$$. . .I don't think it really matters on Excal X-bows, maybe on some other brands. . .

I have a Matrix 355 and I confront the attaches, the Excal manual isn't particular on which course to confront the snares. Be that as it may, I just viewed the guideline video on the Excalibur site for utilizing the rope positioning guide, the person puts the snares on looking down. So figure I will beginning doing it that far as well.
