Nice shootin'! Looks like you've gotten the hang of fletching arrows.

Nice, there can be some yards more, I think. You did from a rest?
78 yards off my primos shooting stick.

Robin was in the hood on my first three shots at 50 yards. I heard arrow nocks clashing and heard it flying off into the woods. Good start. With more time I'll tighten the groups.

even at 50 yards in the shade it's hard to see the deer. I just aim where I think it's should be. Yikes!

My goal is to find space to shoot 100 yards but no magnification does require good light. Yikes!

First time to shoot long range with my TS370/HHA and SigSauer Romeo5 Red Dot. It's a good start.
BoodSport Witness Arrows 425 grain +/- 1.5 grain.

Do you have any idea what your elevation above seal level is where you’re shooting in Colorado?

At many of the higher elevations arrows carry much farther than they do at sea level due to the thinner air causing less friction on the arrows.

Yep, have experience. Last Labor Day I did not seen any difference at 4K elevation at 368fps with my 52 yard shot. However, I’ll be taking a target bag to shoot at to confirm per your comments. We always shoot to sight in before we hunt when we go out there.

Thanks for the comments. It does get in my head per the elevation change.

It looks like you are ready to let the air out of a Speed Goat!

We will expect to get some updates!

Generator, the time is finally here. I want to thank everyone for their support and good wishes. It's going to be physically challenging. Stalks in the morning and position blinds on water for evening hunts.

They should be in rut when we are out there or close to it. So we are hoping to see movement.
