Not really sure what to say on that. I know I prefer them to rubber and they seem to deaden the shot vibration pretty well. Could be in my mind though, considering I have used them for a long time and on many kinds of recurves.
I will run 2 on top and 2 on bottom with my traditional bows and when doing that, it's a solidly positive result.
On the crossbow, it's very hard to tell one way or the other but (for me) they work better than string leeches.
Plus they act as a wind indicator :)

I abhor hunting in the cold. Poor blood circulation has plagued me for decades now.
I suppose it did lead to my stepping up my game :D LOL!
