Deathstalker love

FWIW, I am only bow hunting public land this time of the year, and deer are hiding under logs some where. Yesterday I took my Ghostblind, a short legged webbed seat, foam cushion, my possibles bag and my Deathstalker bow into a pine ridge that sometimes holds deer. I did not see anything but a beautiful sunrise, but you know that's enough. Light load, easy in, easy out.
I had cut my taller Ghostblind down to avoid taking in a seat/chair.
I was so comfortable on the ground behind the blind with my Deathstalker. Light, maneuverable, and deadly. Well for killing time at least.
As I rode my ebike into new areas, the Deathstalker in the Allen case is just perfect. For those not familiar with the Allen case, it has good back straps, breast strap, and a pouch or two for essentials. There is even room inside the case for more stuff. I feel blessed and rich at the same time. At 67 years old, there are still places to go and things to do, and the Deathstalker makes for good company.

Well, I do pick and choose my trails. Mine is a fat tire bike and it does help. My next one will have air shocks in the front fork. I should have it in the next couple of weeks.

Nice !! These are the times I live for ! I love doing this ! There's no better feeling in the world than to be alone out in the woods away from it all and being one with our creator ! Yoyr making me want to call off work today and grab my DeathStalker 380 and go sit in the woods. Lucky for me and my employer it's pouring down rain. I'll tell you what though, that DeathStalker is such a fine bow that I don't believe Scorpyd can ever out do that bow ! No matter what they make will never stand up to that bow ! I'm real close to purchasing the DS420 to fit in between the DS380 and Nemesis 480. It's the missing link in my collection. I just love that one piece rail/riser technology. The way it feels and shoots is unlike anything out there !

Agreed on the DS. I bought a like new DS Grim Reaper this year, and love it! So much lighter and easier to maneuver than my full size Scorpyd's!

Don't feel bad Marty, same here. I hunt private land and it's just three of us hunting it. I scouted and had cameras out all summer getting my plan together. Finally got time to hit the woods a few weeks ago and guess what's sitting right in the field where I had a stand set up,A Bulldozer! I thought, what the heck? So I figured i'd move down into the holler overlooking a nice pond and there sits a gooseneck trailer and bobcat, right beside the pond! I came back home and called my buddy to find out what's going on,on the property. It seems the power company felt the need to replace the lines and poles running through the property in the midst of the rut! None of us has seen anything during the day over there since, just 2 am pics on cameras! Talk about a bummer......:( They are done now over there and still may get a shot during rifle, but it really messed things up this year for me.

Deer get used to the machines. Hunt late and swat em.

Yes in the morning on my way to work. They are all over the place ! They graze in the yards of people's homes around here. I see them standing next to the roads alot, they run out in front of vehicles all of the time ! There's definatly a need for wildlife management here ! I just havnt found the time to get out to hunt Bob ! And we are not allowed to hunt on Sundays so, that really puts a hamper on the issue for me ! I work all day during the weekdays and on Saturday I play catch up on all the strings in making, which I'm getting really good at doing, by the way.

I got my DS420 about a week before the PA archery season opener and filled my tag on the second Monday on a decent eight point. One shot - one kill. This bow is so much easier to carry and handle than my old RDT125. While the old bow still shoots great even after ten years it feels like a boat anchor compared to the DS. Thanks for the tip on the Allen case. Sounds like a winner too.

Dryforkbrady, which model Allen case do you have? Is it the Hornet R1? Sportsman's Guide has some good Xmas discounts right now...
