Anyone shooting the 110 # limbs. What kind of speed are you getting? Believe this xbow will fill the bill for a crusty 71 year old.

I am 61 and looking ahead...
I think a bow with a crank may make life easier as we age.
Have you tried contact Dave at Wyveryn Creations?
He sells only crossbows and very knowledgeable in that field. He most likely can find a package that fits your needs.
Best wishes!

Thanks for your reply, I'm thinking about the 110 limbs not only for the lighter weight but lower stress on the crossbow components. Just wondering how they are preforming speed wise
Thanks,
Rod

I have an Aculeus with 110 pound limbs. It chronographs at 338 FPS with a 450 grain arrow. I shoot it a lot. Strings and cables are last way over 1000 shots. It is a great bow.

I've owned 4 Scorpyds so far. Currently, own the Aculeus 110 lb limbs and the Nemesis with 110 lb limbs. If you want a great bow for hunting, either will fit the bill. I haven't even chronoed my Aculeus but it is much faster and more powerful by at least 40 lbs ke. than any compound bow, I've ever hunted with. At 110lbs, it is more than enough to kill anything at the distance I willing to shoot at. It is much easier on strings, string stops and other components. Much quieter and easier to cock. It is also much easier on targets than the faster crossbows. At 67 years old, the 110 limbs cock mush easier by hand with the short sled cocker while in a treestand. I'll admit that I'm just a crossbow hunter, as soon as I did that my life with crossbows became much simpler.

That video does not look like 105 yards to me.
Not sure if it was the camera angle, but that what it was.

I’m a huge fan of the 110’s. I personally would never go higher than 135’s

My 90# nemesis that bmiller has seems to me to be the perfect bow. It shot 331 with a 400 gr arrow when it left scorpyd. I bet it will pick up a few FPS with the new saddles bmiller made for it

I just sent bmiller some 450 gr tapps for the upcoming 3D season, cant wait to see how the bow performs with those arrows
