Thanks! Never in my life did I think I’d pay that much for a xbow 😄!

I never paid that for a rifle, and have had some dandy's.
Times change and prices go up. Hope you get the best from that one.

I use … the most efficient weapon that's legal. Doesn't matter to me if it's a crossbow, .22lr, slug gun or rifle. "Seasons" are part of the equation, but I've tipped over deer almost year round in nuisance wildlife control. Usually I shoot from early September up to May or so. Crossbow usually from early September until late February; and usually where a landowner has to abide by Fish & Wildlife regulations. Sometimes they can get permits for crossbow use at night. Somewhat rare though. Most night stuff is rifle work.

By the way, those 5 Ten Point bows were being used when I was mentoring Wounded Warriors. My partner and I had to train, prepare and qualify them for an archery hunt supplied by an outstanding landowner.
