For those of us that run a video camera while hunting and guiding, do you use your camera as a tool? I know, I know! You're not supposed to rewind film but I do and I do it all the time so I can take a closer look at the shot to know how long I need to sit still before tracking and what I'm in for before I head out so I can be prepared for what's coming.
For instance, here's a picture of a shot from a young huntress I was guiding on her first crossbow hunt. I was telling everyone no, while the others, who watched the shot from the mountain side were saying "We'll find him". This is what I saw by using the camera as a tool for tracking, and why I knew this buck wasn't going down. This is a Chital deer, also known as Axis deer. The BEST wild game for the table.
