It works:p A safety for my Excal safety is made from a small o-ring. It keeps my safety from being pushed off while fighting my way through thick brush.

not laughing at all, thats actually a very good idea...


having the safety get knock off working through the brush is a major worry of mine, and it does happen, I'm not sure I'd drill into my stock but I could see myself using a rubberband or something wrapped around the stock to hold it down when needed

Good job Tom! Right up there with the AcuDraw mounted on your Vortex or side of stock mounted sling swivel. From one incurable tinkerer to another.

OUCH! I could never drill a hole in my stock like that.

Yah ...........but you have too admit it`s a smart thing to do especially if you stalk when you hunt
I would do the same but my saftey works in reverse up = fire down safe
