New from Excalibur Crossbows for 2016 is the Micro 355 crossbow. The Micro 355 is the fastest Micro crossbow to date offered be Excalibur. As the name implies, with the supplied 350 grain arrowsQuill Carbon arrow, this crossbow shoots 355 feet per second. The Excalibur Micro 355 achieves this speed thanks in part to the Gen II CRT limbs that produce a 280 pound draw weight. The Micro 355 only has a 10" power stroke so cocking it is not a problem. The crossbow is very lightweight at only 5.2 pounds. It feels great in the hands and balances very well. Un-cokced, the Micro 355 measures in at 25" wide and when cocked the crossbow is only 21" wide. For a recurve crossbow, this is really narrow. The overall length of the Micro 355 from Excalibur is 33.5" long. Excalibur offers the Micro 355 in a package which includes the Tact-Zone Illuminated Scope which is a 30mm scope and come with scope rings, the Guardian Anti-Dry-Fire system to prevent accidental dry fires, the R.E.D.S. suppressors to help quiet down the 355, an ambidextrous cheek piece for both left and right handed crossbow hunters, a 4 arrow quiver, 4 of the 16.5", 350 grain Quill crossbow arrows with field points, and a rope cocking aid. The Excalibur Micro 355 crossbow is dipped with a Realtree Xtra camo pattern. This crossbow looks and feel great.
