Got to see my first fawn of this season Friday. Could not be more than a few hours old, the roadside grass was taller than it!! normally by this time of year I would have spotted dozens of them ,but it has been unusually cool and wet, maybe that was the cause.
I am really fortunate to work at a place that has thousands of acres of undevloped land. We have every type of Midwestern wildlife you could ever want to observe here. Some we can even hunt like deer and turkey, trapping is available too. So I get to work here year round and observe natures bounty at the same time. No office job for me ever again!
