HHA Optimizer on Aculeus

Would like to know if anyone has an HHA Optimizer on an Aculeus and uses it for hunting. Do you like it and are there any clearance issues with the Acudraw sled or with a rope cocker? I see they offer an extended mounting bracket, is that needed?
Also are the supplied speed/trajectory tapes accurate or did you make your own?

I got an hha on my nemesis and I have no issues of clearance cocking with my aerocrank ad or rope cocker. I did not need the extension on mine
had one on my Aculeus before I sold the bow. Worked great but need extension.
the supplied tapes worked well with mine. I had to shoot the same weight arrows or change tape.

Thanks for your reply, it looked like it would be close without the extension piece. Can I ask what kind of scope did you use with it?
I have an aculeus 460 with hha and a nikon bolt scope. The tapes work perfect
I have a Jackplate and a Vortex scope on my 460. All my other bows have Hawke Xb30 pro as most of my hunting spots I only shoot out to 40 to 50 yards and with the Hawke I don't have to fiddle with dial. For long range shooting you can't beat good optics and a hha or jackplate

Rit did you use a Ravin jackplate instead of the HHA to avoid interference or some other reason? Are the Ravin jackplates available to purchase like the HHA. Does using either of the jackplate arrangements raise the scope enough to make target acquisition harder (cheek weld). If you put a new string on the bow do you have to recalibrate the optimizer or does the speed stay close enough.

Did you need the signature rings to adjust for misalignment or to tilt the scope more to get it sighted in.
I needed the +- shims when I had the Vortex Viper on without the Jackplate to get more moa adjustment on the elevation. Those are the rings I prefer to use. I always shoot about 25 to 30 shots before sighting in after new string and have just got the jack plate. I like the dial on Jackplate better but it does change cheek weld a bit but it doesn't bother me. TPCollins on this forum had one on his bow and didn't like the cheek weld. I bought mine from Wyvern Creations . They are a bit pricey but I love it.
Thanks Rit! Have a nice Christmas

Buckstop what height rings did you use on your Aculeus with HHA setup? Do you know about how much higher the center of the scope tube was raised with HHA. Did you have to use the rings with offset inserts to tilt scope?
I used high rings nothing else special needed when using the nikon scope.
