Hi new to the boards .
Im based in Kent .

On the look out for a horton safari / horton safari mangnum crossbow .
Even just the stock ?

Any help / advise would be great . I did find one locally for £50 but the advert was 1 year old .

That's odd, I'm in Aus and have used Trademe… maybe it's an Aussie/Kiwi "Tasman Sea" deal.

This model was very popular in Australia and NZ during the 80's, so lots around.
Are you in Kent UK? If I pick up another one I'll look you up. Could do a trade on a vintage pommy airgun, my other crush!

Hi yer i did message them and registration is only fir Aus / Nz

Be cool if came across safari magnum or even better the earlier horton magnum .

So sorry . Unsure how missed your message . No not yet . Idealy a horton safari or horton safari magnum .

I have kind of worked some magic with design of a 3d print file but still want the old horton if can find one . I enclosed pics of mine and pics of the one ideally to find . For the ammount made they are very illusive here . The horton safari magnum works but needs hollowed out at the front . The horton magnum believed to be a swiss army competition bow its hard to even find much referance .
But if one comes up either version i would ve interested

Also if any one has any of the top trigger covers would ve handy or scope rail ? 3d again for now i tried to design my own . Based on empire strikes back and a new hope . id actually think the front section may have been a old drop arrow rest of sorts too

Congrats on finding one! Mine's ultra reliable, albeit super slow compared to today's bows.
Cut out those stock sections and you'll have a pretty accurate replica of a Magnum, aka Bowcaster.
Gotta love cosplay props and movie pieces!
