Being new to xbows I try to read a lot. My question is how long am I able to keep my Sub-1 cocked before "letting it rest" as I've read?
Thx!

Not sure about the sub-1 but my Excal has stayed cocked 2 days to stretch strings and my Sniper has been cocked almost the same stretching new strings. Didn't hurt either bow. I would think ANY bow would be fine cocked all day for a looooong all day hunt though. JMO...…….

4 hours is a good idea. These bow limbs are not meant for prolonged stress....even though some people do get lucky....For a few times anyways :D
Excals are going to last the longest. The shorter the limb, the worse it is.
Thats just the facts.

Best thing you can do is give Mission a call and talk with their customer service and go by their recommendations. Then, if there's a problem you did what they recommended.;):)

Unless its documented with a witness and notarized...thats worthless.
You are (most likely) talking to less than a rep and nobody in the R&D dept.
Save the dime.

Good point, I'll find out who is who yhere however r&d is likely a good dept to explore this question with.
I have to say I find it strange this question has never been asked previously
