Hypothetically speaking...

Let's pretend that both models came out at the same time, and that both models cost the same amount. And let's assume that they will be used on a bullpup stocked crossbow. Between the Charger EXT and the C2, is one actually "better"than the other? If so, what makes it "better?" What are the relative strengths and weaknesses of each model?

The Charger is lighter, smaller, more compact (you can put it in your jacket pocket) and makes much less noise then the C2.

I want a Charger for the reasons mentioned but also because it can be switched to lefthand friendly and the C2 cannot.

That said, you can find C2 cranks for around $200 CHEAPER than the new Chargers. If they were close in price it would be a no brainer.

I suspected that much, but thought I'd ask. My understanding is that the EXT can be used to uncock the crossbow easier than the C2 can. Is this correct?
I uncock my Matrix 350 and my Vortex with my C2 crank quite often. No problems at all doing so.

Both can be used to uncock like @robertyb says. But the difference is that the Charger comes with a fail-safe strap for uncocking.

Not quite to that extent. If so that would mean you can get a new C2 for free.

I just got a Charger EXT from Pine Mountain Archery on ebay. Submitted an offer for $190 and they accepted it. Should have offered less...
