retired VP of Technical Operations. I worked 28 years for one of the world's premium sports optics companies. I've been an archery/bowhunting nut since 1963 and love all methods of bowhunting from primitive self bows, long bows, recurves, compounds and crossbows. Anything that shoots an arrow is OK by me. Now, with severe arthritis in my right shoulder, crossbows are a blessing for me. I've sold nearly all my vertical bows and now live and breathe crossbows. Now that I've been shooting and hunting with them for 4 years I can truly say I'm having just as much fun, if not more, than with my vertical bows. Crossbows are cool! I'm now doing some archery, bowhunting and equipment consulting including crossbows. I see crossbow sports being a sizeable part of archery/bowhunting in the future and I will be doing all that I can to help in that growth.
