This xbow is easy to affordably upgrade as well. That price at Northwoods is the lowest I know of and it probably won't last.Nice!

It's not good Steve. First off it's an old design targeted for the entry level buyer, it's no longer in production, its relatively slow around 300 fps, it's loud, has no string suppressors, not adjustable anywhere and has a perpendicular mounted quiver. You have many better choices. What are your thoughts on the Barnett Jackal?

And that design from 3 years ago has been surpassed by much better entry level buyer products.I AM an entry level buyer though.

My daughter-in-law bought a Jackal and tried shooting it for a year then upgraded. Every time out the scope would be off. It was probably just the scope, but it coulda also been because it mounted onto a plastic receiver. Atleast that's what it looked like to me. Compared to other crossbows it just looked cheap to me. I have never owned a Barnett, I'm just speaking on what I saw from appearances. Good luck with your decision.I AM an entry level buyer though.

Design for one. Specifically the limbs, a machined flight rail, machined cams, string suppressors, the scope, an adjustable butt stock.I like that one too. But, respectfully, what is better about it?
