A good friend is the buyer for all Fin,Fur,Feather stores archery equipment, he's been with them 25 years, they have an archery mini factory at the Ashland location set up by Ten Point I'm told.I talked to him today about the Excaliburs , they no longer are carrying them after years, reason being they don't sell well, not enough bells and whistles for the modern day archer. He did say they rarely had one in their repair shop, and they were as accurate as anything currently produced. I still find this somewhat perplexing.

i have pulled up to alight here in The Detroit area and saw a guy with a Mc donalds bag over his head with holes cut in for eyes.
I am pretty sure it was because he was driving the new Toyota pick up into the Zibart place.
Lots of G.M nd Ford rigs in there.

Were those ... the gay/woke Ford pickup trucks? 😂 After the retards at Bud Light cost the company 6 BILLION dollars in value because they're clueless who 90% of beer drinkers are, Ford decides to forget who 99% of pickup truck owners are??? Redefining the word "stupidity?"

What's funny about the ford decision is for the last few years they designed the F-150 for women anyway. According to one of their demographic reports more women drive pickups then men do...Go figure?

I know exactly what you mean the only Ford (Bronco) I’ve ever owned was towed to the garage more than I drove it finally got rid of it the mechanic drove it more than me. All my yodas looked rough but always ran great. My current Yoda is great except all that BS safety stuff they put on them. Can’t buy just base trucks anymore. My 04 Silverado still runs like a champ but I figure one day the doors will fall off from all the rust.
So I can relate to those pictures.

Yes Sir, when my '17 Tundra croaked, I almost bought a new one. However, it seems that Toyota is way fonder of their trucks and decided I needed to keep my extra cash. They wouldn't deal. Same place I bought my old one.
I sold a friend of mine an OLD 92 Prerunner (before Tacoma) V-6 4 x4 extended cab. It had 168,000 on it then. He's STILL driving it!! Last time I talked to him it had over 600,000 on it. Original motor and drivetrain.

I bought the '22 Ram in September of '22. It now has a total of 9,000 miles on it. I'm pretty sure my wife will be driving it, and I'll be on a Toyota again.
Pretty soon..... 🤣😎😂

When loading a significant amount of material in the bed of a truck, it goes in this order ... no joke, 24 years of this. Dont care what you drive, dont care what you put in the back. Trucks have a legal capacity on them for a reason. Most are at capacity with an ATV in the bed. Dont believe me, check your sticker. If your dont know where your sticker is... well see list below.

1/2 ton

Ford
Toyota(tundra)
Chev
Dodge(significantly less capable, but different suspension and shit air bags So what are you gonna do)
Toyota tacoma.

Heres the kicker. Chev drivers 9 time out of 10 happily pay for delivery... by a Ford.

Ford hauls material, Dodge hauls parts, Chev hauls horses.

I do NOT doubt that one bit! (y)

I threw the tacoma on there because its on the list. We don't load them with matrials much. But I am usually surprised at how much soil or aggregate they take, respective to their size of course. Those are great trucks I can't argue.

Ive had an f150 HDPP for a couple decades just keep turning them over with the lease agent. Now I have a RAV4 TRD, life is not the same. But it is fun to drive, And the soccers moms love it, which is good.

In the manufacture corner forums Excalibur comes in second in total views and third in total posts. must say something about their popularity. :)

In the picture of me hauling hickory blocks I always loaded 2000 to 2500 lbs , the mill weighed you empty and loaded, however I had another leaf spring added back then, now they come with 3 leaf springs. That's the only PU i'll ever own. Handling and steering was never a problem, by the way the truck shown was a 4 cylinder.

No doubt. I'd bet my last dolar you could load more in a tacoma and a half ton Ram. BUT, the difference for me, is that nobody buys Tacoma's to work in the building industry. As a rule, not a hard fact. Its just not what its designed for, so I dont see them. And its cost prohibitive to bust up a mid size truck that cost the same as a full size.
I like Tacoma's. I like Toyotas. In the great truck shortage of 2022 I picked a toyota.

Younger folks have grown up with video games killing zombies and what not. I’m sure these new fangled fast bows are Uber appealing to them. But they are also need it now folks. The maintenance required is most likely something not known to them. An Excalibur fan is always going to be just that. Something’s you just can’t explain or even get them to listen to. There will always be an Excalibur hanging in my house. And, I also like the new stuff. But if I only could have one, it would be an Excalibur.
Amen👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Hard to believe... In almost 60 years of driving I have never seen a woman driving a pickup truck.
