I think you got some of this info. from our Conversation Cory but for the sake of the folks here thinking about a CP400 and this same change, I'll add some detail.
Putting a brush on a CP400 or any of the 2019 CenterPoint bows made by ManKung is not terribly difficult. It takes time, a drill press and some special tools. Not pictured are vernier calipers, marking tools a drill press and bits.
I use TenPoint's brush (part number HCA-108). This is a high quality brush that should last a very long time. In many cases, the lifetime of the xbow.
I size the brush to fit each bow. In the case of the CP400, it means shortening the brush's plastic base to about 1/2" height. You need to locate it on the rail so it rides the arrow correctly. 1.25" to 1.5" back from the front edge of the rail is good. Centering it on the rail, drilling the mounting holes and counterboring is an exacting process.
This whole process takes me about 2 hours to do.
If you like to tinker, this is a good project.
