Perry McClure, the president of the Kentucky Crossbow Federation, recently spoke to the KDFWR Wildlife Committee about expanding the KY Crossbow Season. As a result, the KY Dept of Fish and Wildlife Commission Board will consider expanding the KY crossbow season to be the same as archery at their meeting on Friday, March 23 at 8:30am EST.

If you live in Kentucky, there are several ways you can help:

1) Contact your Commission Director before 3/23 and express support. Find your county's director at bit.ly/KDFWRdirectors

2) Attend the Commission Board meeting on 3/23 at KDFWR Headquarters in Frankfort.

3) Download and print our Call to Action flyer to hand out to your friends, family, and co-workers who may be interested. http://bit.ly/KCFcalltoaction

Thanks,
Mary Kathryn DeLodder
KCF Secretary/Treasurer

Best of luck to you! I would also post this in the "General Crossbow Discussion" forum. Not many people check out the Crossbow Organization forum!!! I would also hit other forums as well!! Get the issue out there!!

For those living in the KDFWR 3rd District (Breckinridge, Bullitt, Jefferson, Meade, Oldham, Shelby, Spencer), there will be a public meeting hosted by 3rd District Commission Member Rusty Gailor on Monday, March 12, 2018 at Cabela’s in Louisville at 7pm. Please attend if you live in this district and wish to voice your opinion of the potential expansion of KY crossbow season!
