I just purchase my first crossbow Killer Instincts Ripper 415.
It had a broken string and damaged cam on the left hand side (looking down on the bow)

I have purchased the following from Killer Instincts:
  • Cam set
  • Cam hardware set
  • String
  • Cable set

I will be going to Cabelas to have the cables and string put on since I don't have a press.

This being said I do not know where the spacers should go when I put the new Cam on.

The right hand side has the large spacer on the bottom and the small spacer on the top.

Since the spacers on the left hand side were missing, should I assume it is the opposite so that the cables will not rub?

Please see attached pics.

Thanks

Would someone with a 415 take a pic of either side cams so that i can see what direction the spacers go?

Looks like the large spacer is on the bottom on both sides...is that correct?

Thanks for the pics

Yes, I just checked mine. Large spacer on bottom on both cams. To minimize down pressure of string to rail.

That is logical because it is important for the cams to be aligned to each over. Each side of the limb assembly should be a mirror image of the other except for the cables because they run thru the slide which route them slightly different.
