Pliers are not only not necessary, but they flat out make Lumenoks more difficult to turn off. Super easy (and I have zero hand strength)

I don't use my bare hands either. Just an arrow puller or extinguisher and give it a few shakes, just like in the video.I will have to keep my pliers.
They are too short for me too get a grip on with my hands.
Yeah that nock bushing / lumenok combo is no good. Not enough give in the system.I tried doing the hold and shake on a Ravin lighted nock and the damn nock split in half. The other 2 got barely shaved until I could cut them off using finger pressure.
Seems I recall someone posting new lighted nocks they saw at the 2023 ATA show that are not released to public yet.Thinking about adding lighted nocks to the setup this year. I do have some Luminoks for aluminum if I hunt with the Micro, but not thrilled with how hard it is to turn them off. Any recommendations for lighted flat nocks for .300 ID carbon would be much appreciated. Thanks.
