Congrats !!
#14?? Must be awesome, we go some years with none.
Wow! Dude! 14!? Sounds more like you're crank'n honkers!!! What the limits out there?
I don't really care what the limit is; what the heck are you doing killing all those deer??? Are you in that bad a shape that all you consume is deer meat?? Reminds me of a few of the hunters at the local gin mill complaining about the game commission as to their not being many deer in the areas they hunt! It wasn't the game commission who pulled the triggers to fill all those doe tags , it was them that ruined the hunting in those areas by killing the seed does. Now all they do is look to blame someone else for their greed!!

Well
The limit here is 3 does or bucks with less than 3” horns a day.
I am still seeing plenty of deer where I am hunting.
Now I am trying to bag big buck.
I bought and paid for my license and I will do as I please as long as it doesn’t break laws.
The limit here is starting 28 sep through 12 Jan I think. 3 does or bucks with less than 3” horns a day.
I am far from shooting my limit.
Limit is like 300 antlerless / bucks less than 3” horns deer plus 2 bucks with horns equal to fester than 3” long.
I give the meat dressed and some prepared to the landowners who let me hunt.
I pay no lease.
Land leads around here for $12-$15 bucks an acre.
Would cost me a fortune where I hunt.
Besides loads of coyotes here where these landowners run goats, etc.
Controlling deer population cuts down on coyote population.

So that is the whole truth and nothing but the truth.
I will harvest a few more deer during the next 6 weeks roughly.

I live in unit B.
County I live borders unit L county.
Unit L is where I do most of my hunting

Gave a family with 6 children some dressed deer today too.
All the venison gets consumed by landowners, and some local folks.
Not everyone here has either or the time, skill, or the equipment to harvest deer. Yet they like to eat deer.
I make Jerkey for folks too.
Folks pay nothing. That would be against the law for me to take loot for deer.
The trimmings gets Eaten by my cats.
The 2 teenage boys who are part of the family of 8 I gave dressed and sliced deer to today had big smiles on their faces. They said they love it. They moved here recently come NH.

Maybe you and others will understand.
I am not having a deer killing contest.
Rather satisfying folks I cherish wants and desires.

Happy holidays.

Controlling the deer population also wells keep down the spreading of disease where there is overpopulation! Inasmuch as the limits are what they are it goes without saying the state recognizes the deer population can be thinned down.

That is so awesome that you are helping the neighbors out with some great tasting meat they are truly blessed to have someone like you
Cool about how you hunt the land and give the deer to the land owners. Sounds like a good deal for both parties
Well, if there's an overpopulation, I guess there's a need for some thinning...I'm not an 'armchair expert', so I'll leave it up to the dudes with all the know how...!
Sounds like you're doing it respectfully and using them wisely!
As long as youre legal I don't have an opinion. Enjoy the rest of your season.
So do you eat any of it?
I eat some, usually late winter early spring.
