I am looking for a ravin press. Does not have to be the multi head version. I only have a r10 and I am just looking to save money when swapping strings.
I don't understand how MidwayUSA can sell them for $249 if the retail price is $549. And it's not like they sell the old stock because since Ravin changed their price to $549 they went out of stock on MidwayUSA few times already.I just checked Midway and they’re on sale for $249.
When the new one came out $249 was the price then they jumped the price way up and most dealers went up with them. My guess is that Midway had bought a bunch of them and didn't jump their price up.I don't understand how MidwayUSA can sell them for $249 if the retail price is $549. I don't think this is the reason. After Ravin went up with price MidwayUSA stock went out few times and they had to reorder. I assume MidwayUSA have some kind of contract with Ravin for certain amount of time on the price , that probable has not expired yet. When the new one came out $249 was the price then they jumped the price way up and most dealers went up with them. I think they recommend to remove it. If you don't it will rest on the scope. Check his video at 1:21You won't have to remove the scope to press your R10, just the R26 I believe needs scope removal to press.
Wouldn't you be in the same situation with your press if you turn the bow upside down? If you going to turn the bow over with a scope on you'll have to prop it up with either press as far as I can tell.I think they recommend to remove it. If you don't it will rest on the scope. I don’t understand either but i can tell you the press i bought from Midway in November is the real deal with all the attachments etc.I don't understand how MidwayUSA can sell them for $249 if the retail price is $549. This is getting crazy weird. Add promo code SAVEJAN2423A and it becomes $203!!!
According to the instructions and what I have seen, the R29, R29X, R26, and the R26X all need to have the upper rail removed. I just bought the new one from Midway but have not played with it yet.You won't have to remove the scope to press your R10, just the R26 I believe needs scope removal to press.
Use code SAVEJAN2423B and you will get $20 offThis is getting crazy weird. Add promo code SAVEJAN2423A and it becomes $203!!!
I haven’t actually “tested” that code but when i checked the fine print yesterday, that promo code specifically excluded sale items. The 10% code tested valid for the Ravin press.Use code SAVEJAN2423B and you will get $20 off
That is correct with the old press and the new press.According to the instructions and what I have seen, the R29, R29X, R26, and the R26X all need to have the upper rail removed. I just bought the new one from Midway but have not played with it yet.
I test it and it works on the press. Not sure if it will work with the Birthday Sale.I haven’t actually “tested” that code but when i checked the fine print yesterday, that promo code specifically excluded sale items. The 10% code tested valid for the Ravin press.
