I got out and put some bolts down range today with the new Diesel X the bow is solid and it is a shooter the trigger has no creep and is just as good on the one my Fatal X but not the quality of the trigger on my X1 it is quite and easy to rope cock has no vibration at the shot and is pleasant to shoot one thing I wasn't sure of was the polymer barrel on this bow but after shooting it I see no issues in the future with it I did notice that the bolt only contacts the rail in two spots one area in the trigger box and the other at the end of the barrel you can see in the pictures the way the rail is cut away from those areas the group is from 40 yards so I can say it is accurate I didn't shoot the supplied bolts I was using bolts with a total weight of 440gr over all I am happy with this crossbow and think it definitely is worth it

Thanks for sharing- I'm deciding on this crossbow or another CP Wrath 430X which I sold my previous one. I have a Boss 405 but this machine is definitley an upgrade with the new cams. A guy on YouTube chronograph the Diesel X @ 398 FPS which isn't to shabby. Congrads on your new purchase.

Accuracy is excellent. Oddly it weighs more than the Fatal x with an aluminum rail. There was some talk of the Fatal rail not being stout enough and twisting. Maybe they really beefed up this polymer rail, hence the name Diesel. 7.4 compared to the 6.4 on the Vital.
