There will be reverse draw, standard draw, compounds, recurves reverse cams, etc..
There will be standard rail and front rest models. What else is there? So, virtually all of the above will fall into either standard rail or front rest models.
Will there be a third option? That is the enclosed rail that the SWAT has.
This design virtually eliminates archer’s paradox. This is a big deal!! What it means is that broadheads, fixed and expandible , will shoot very much like a field point. It even means that if you want, you can shoot both expandible and fixed broadheads with the same impact points, or virtually so. It means that arrow spine is much less critical. It means a crossbow that is easier to sight in and shoots a much greater variety of broadheads accurately. It just makes life simpler.
With 33 years of shooting crossbows avidly, I’ve found no crossbow as accurate as the SWAT.
If KI has a follow-on to the SWAT, be sure to consider it.
