No shame here. I'm 38 now, but was 18 when I screwed up my neck in wrestling and 22 when I herniated 2 discs in my back. Loved shooting my compound, but was only capable of taking a dozen or so practice shots in any one session and sitting in treestands for hours locked me up so bad I would squeeze the living day lights out of my bow so hard on draw I was lucky if the Arrow would fly anywhere close to where I was aiming.

It was the ethical thing for me to do switching to crossbow and for God sakes I live in Michigan where deer are practically a mythical beast some years so I need all the help I can get when I see one.
