Hello from Whitby, Canada. I have been hunting deer for the last 4 years shot gun only. i took the turkey course last year and only hunted them with shot gun as well. Last night i bought my first crossbow and i am looking forward to using it during turkey season this year. So if anyone has any tips of advice they would be much appreciated.

thanks

Howdy and welcome to the world of Crossbows. I've harvested several turkey with a crossbow and have learned a few do's and dont's, the hard way of course.
So, welcome and here's your first tip from me-your better off not shooting from behind if you hunt on the ground, but rather broadside at the top of the drumsticks. If your low, at least you take his legs out. Did you know a turkey can still run really fast on one leg?
Did you know they can out run a old, fat lady on one leg? Well, now you know!
