New to crossbow hunting although I have hunted for many years including a few years with a vertical bow. Took the first deer this past season. Current using TenPoint Turbo M1 andTenPoint Titan SS bows, Wyvern Dragon Claw arrows, and Rage and VPA 3 blade broadheads. Much to learn about details, mechanics, maintenance, etc. Have lurked for a couple of months, learned a lot, and am very appreciative of all of the knowledge being shared. I look forward to learning more and sharing future events and successes with the group,

Took the deer with a Rage and the older Titan bow; however, it looked as if only one blade was opened. Have been using the VPA,with the M1 and can almost put 3 shots in the same hole at 40 yards In still air. Very happy so far.

VPAs are nice. I like tuffheads the best but they are more expensive

Hi Oday from suburban MD (Rocky Gorge area, Montgomery County). Xbow is great for stuffing the freezer and feeding hungry folk while reducing head count in your backyard garden. How about a blow-by-blow on that first takedown.
