I liberally sprayed a log lying on the ground alongside the small corn pile. Always got a few pics without the Nose Jammer over a span of a week or so. Never got this many pics in just a few days. I'd say the Nose Jammer is drawing them in more consistently than just the corn because of the new bucks I have pics of now.
I believe it is best to condition them to it over time. In my opinion it is better when they associate the scent with food. This has been my strategy. This is private land at the end of a Cul-De-Sac in a large subdivision. Easier to adjust them to it here. Can be done on Public Land as well where it is legal. Don’t expect to see deer the first time you use it. Once accustomed to it they are frequent visitors here. Just wish they would come around more in the daylight when I am here.
