Wow, looks great! Why is the one cable on the string track?
It is not laying on the string track , it is about 1/2inch above , that cable will go over and through the top barrel 1/2 inch above the string .
or same distance as the bottom cable away from the string .

Oh, ok. That’s cool and all but eliminates cam lean!
Yes , that is the whole idea behind the X25 !! pluss with the x wing fletch i can split the cables just enough to get the fletch through them .
Pretty neat !!

while looking at pic from the front it occured to me that its possible that when cams move towards front when cocking, this can create extra force into string when it moves towards arrow on launch (or actually lose power)

not saying that this happens here, but if string are strong enough to withstand it, this can be used to create extra push into arrow altho timings and lenght and viscosity of string needs to be really really precise to create whip like snap at the final moment of release

think i need another cup of coffee to wakey

finished my coffee... whip snap can create speeds up to supersonics

i dont think there is string material yet to withstand that constantly

what is required there is some slack in string, and it can be adjusted to be subsonic too as to my understanding

Has an x25 been built before? Or has old flyer only designed it?

I think we’re a pretty lucky group of people to be able to sit here and watch history literally be made. It’s actually a pretty darn awesome experience if you sit and think about it.
I think Jeff ,(old flyer ) has made a few prototypes .
I plan to send this to KI when I get it all done and all the kinks worked out .
Maybe we can get Jeff some more toilets !!

The possibility of this one coming to market, has piqued my interest, since first hearing the "ghost" stories of it's conception. It is the main reason I never jumped on the Swat bandwagon. That and the few problems they were having as first year products. If it works out, (and I have no reason to believe it won't) it may well be as close to perfect of a shooters bow there is. We may all be witnesses to history being made, thanks to these two fine gentlemen.

The X25 is my original design that is slightly revised.
25" total length
14" power stroke (Ravin R26 is 26" long with only a 9-1/2" power stroke)
13-3/4" LOP
6 pounds without the scope
9-7/8" total width cocked - 17" total width relaxed
Balance point is right at the trigger
Shoot any length arrow (5" thru 20")
Enclosed barrel like the SWAT with balanced string and harness set-up (one cable above arrow and one cable below) which totally eliminates cam lean and limb twist.
This is his description.
