Opinion on Mega Meat

Shoot just like a field point and do massive damage. Blades are thin so it is most likely one shot and done.

I'm personally fine with disposable heads as long as they deploy and do their job.
I am the same way, I have never shot the same head twice.

Outstanding broadhead! As Ludy said they fly true and do extreme damage. I took 12 deer with them last season. Of the 12 deer, 9 heads had all 3 blades fully deployed on entry. The other 3 had 2 blades fully deployed and the other partly deployed on entry and fully deployed within an inch or so. I am usually one and done with expandables too, but these have been more durable than expected. Most could be disassembled, cleaned, sharpened and reused.

As stated above, excellent head. Rapid blade deployment. No broken blades and yet to damage a ferrule.

I'm giving the Mega's a shot. I like the practice head concept and the large cutting diameter. If I kill anyting I will report back.

They make a crossbow version which is supposed to stay closed in those cases, but you have a good thought.
