PARKER PUTS SOME STING IN THEIR LINE WITH THE LAUNCH OF THE
NEW HORNET EXTREME HIGH PERFORMANCE CROSSBOW

MINT SPRING, VA. December 21, 2010; Parker is proud to announce the launch of its New Hornet Extreme high performance crossbow for 2011. Inspired by the popularity of Parker’s original Buck Buster series of crossbows, the Hornet Extreme combines a classic design with an ultra compact, aggressively styled high performance crossbow that leads the industry in Speed, Balance, Weight, Accuracy and Value.

The Hornet Extreme shoots a stinging 315 feet per second and generates over 88 foot pounds of big game kinetic energy. Weighing-in at a mere 7.5 pounds, the Hornet Extreme features an ultra compact axle-to-axle dimension of only 16.75 inches when cocked. In addition, unlike other brands of crossbows that are awkwardly front-heavy, the Hornet Extreme is perfectly balanced, which enhances accuracy, comfort and handling.

The elevated comb (cheek rest) has been styled with a classic Monte Carlo look for those who prefer the appearance and feel of their favorite hunting rifle. The stock also features a vented forearm, safety finger flange, aggressive thumb hole and a textured pistol grip. As with all Parker crossbows, the Hornet Extreme features the highly acclaimed 100% metal G2 Trigger with an ambidextrous auto-engage safety and anti dry-fire device. The Hornet Extreme is detailed in Next Vista camo with the Soft Touch finish.

The Hornet Extreme includes a four-arrow quick detach quiver and is available in four optic packages including a Three Dot Dual Color optic, or a 3 x 32 multi reticle scope, or an Illuminated 3 x 32 Scope, or the New RED HOT’s® Pin Point Dial-a-Distance scope. For the hunter that wants every accessory all in one package, the Hornet Extreme is also offered in the Perfect Storm package.

The Hornet Extreme has a retail beginning at $599.95, and is backed by Parker’s Lifetime warranty.
