Apologies for the newbie question, but looking around online on my own, I didn't see anything.
I'm thinking about getting a different crossbow and when I went to check my whether I thought what I paid for the Pilderiver 390 kit was accurate and it turns out it's been discontinued. I only bought it 2 years ago and it seemed to my novice self to be a good crossbow. Anybody got the skinny on why they axed it?
Cheers,

Carbon Express is done. Feradyne took over and on their site it mentions once the
remaining parts are sold that is it. I picked up a 2019 model when they were being
discounted by a dealer and it is a very high quality bow. This one came with the crank
cocking device as a bonus.
One post I read was "Patent problems". Feradyne Outdoors sells the Rocky Mountain
crossbow series. Many of the parts are identical to the Carbon Express 390 Pile Driver.

If you view their site and look for Carbon Express you will see "Archived. No longer
available. Check your dealer".
All the best.
Take care.

Feradyne bought out Eastman in 2017.

FeraDyne has purchased Eastman Outdoors, whose brands include Carbon Express.

If you do a search on EBay, these crossbows are still available from a seller.
I just purchased one and it came yesterday morning. A very nice, honest person
to deal with.
All the best.
