Q about the New Tremor XP

7589 Views 100 Replies 22 Participants Last post by  Ironminer
Did anyone bought it yet:/do they ship them yet?
How do you like it if you got one?
I am really interested in this one, but is there a way to at leasrt to see it in person? Before you buy it?
What about the big outdoor show in Harrisburg Pa, next month? Is Scorpyd even care to be there to show the new Products? What you all think?

I"m curious as to which one you have better accuracy with. And if those limbs hold up for 2+ years I'll be willing to try one.
Like Rit, I don't have the XP version but, at 50 yards I can hit one of those little red stick on target dots over and over. I can't quite do that with my DS or darton serpent. As for the limbs I would imagine those barnsdales will hold up especially with the XP considering each limb has been relaxed about 1/8". Accuracy is phenomenal with my Tapps.

Agree; my Tremor was more accurate that my DS LT.

If they reduced the total limb flex along with relaxing the limbs at rest that would be the ticket for longetivity. And it might just per sway me to buy another Tremor with the aero crank. I need a Scorpyd with a crank for the days that Im not up to rope cocking.

The very reason I let my Nemesis out ! It's plenty fast enough with a little longer strings/cables.

If you did buy another Tremor and then decided to sell, ;) I'm pretty sure finding a buyer wouldn't be a problem my friend.

Your Nemesis was a fast one to begin with. LOL Backing the 200 deflection limbs off is the best thing you can do for them. It sure doesnt hurt any other than a little speed loss.

Black bows and I just dont get along well. They play with my emotions, torment me and hurt my feelings. LOL.

The tremor is a great bow, bought one 2 yrs ago, it is very accurate, repeatability. It feels significantly narrower than my other Scorpyds. Like everything about the bow. Killed my biggest buck to date with it this yr.

Ok, been reading through this entire post and I know there are several on here that had the Nemisis. I haven’t seen any mention of the strings wearing on either Tremor like the Nemisis! Was this issue resolved completely to where it can be a target/ hunting bow now? And if so what exactly did they do to correct the problem? Just still little gun shy right now. Nemisis is still a great hunting bow.
Thanks

So, new arrows for the Tremor XP are fletched and ready for installing the inserts and then some shooting (scope adjustments).
Note: (I am probably the only one who use a wraps on crossbow arrows...hehehe).

One of the few that uses all white vanes also! You're braver than I am, LOL.

They look great though and good luck with them!

If we are talking about the shafts, hmmm, I am ok with those...
But I am always ready to listen and possibly learn something new....
If I remove them from the shafts, what advantage will it give me?
Thank You!

I think he just likes a clean look rather than busy labels.

You will also loose 2 grains and make them faster by .5 FPS. ;)

Depending on your target, the labels will smear, get gummy, from heat of arrow penetrating Target.

Yes, that's about right, but as you probably know, that 0.5 FPS will not make me to remove the labels :p

Thank You! That is possibility. Friction is a b*tch. But I am using a sleeves (footings) on the arrows (they can be seen on the pic), and I believe they are already helping a little. Just a little.
Testing them on the Sevr target is was not a big difference tho.
But Thank You again. I will test that theory and see for myself. If there is going to be significant difference I will remove the labels. But for now they are staying on. ;)

The cock vanes will get a Sharpie tattoo, so even in a low light I can tell for sure which one should go into a rail.
