You will hear endorsements from both corners.
I can only tell you that I went with Burris and I am more than satisfied. The Garmin is also an excellent scope. The lifetime warranty with Burris vs. 1 year with Garmin was the clincher for me. Best of luck in whatever you decide to go with.
Can’t speak for the Garmin but I own a Burris Oracle X and love it. 2-7X variable zoom, yardage reticles every 10 yards out to 100 yds if electronics/battery fail during the hunt, decent glass, extremely fast yardage acquisition. I consider the X to be a game changer for me.
