hell.....if I only bought "if i have the cash." I would be living in a 50,000.00 moblil home......;
Cash is actually usless now days.
Its all about having that 837 credit score and keeping there.
Being able to get 50,000.00 on a signature and never entering the bank.....pricless.
A few bad crossbow purchases can get that down in the 600"s

I don't own much, but i don't owe anything.
Financed a truck years ago and once it was paid off i never took another loan. I'll save for what i want like my parents and grandparents did.
But its important to add that its a personal choice and we dont all think the same. Which is nice because if we did all think the same life would get boring real quick.

Not me, debt free other than my mortgage!

I thought at one time in my life ( when I paid my mortgage in full 90 days after taking it out) that I was debt free. I was wrong as I am charged a thing called property taxes by both the City and the County I live in. When I receive that bill every year I know that I will never be truly debt free. I might own my property but I still have to "rent" it from the local government every year. Go 2 or 3 years without paying it and they will sell it at the courthouse steps for you.

Now that you mentioned it, I did. That whole trip was paid for in full yesterday. Well I say that. I can’t pay for the freight, on the mounts, until they are packed and measured.
