Have a R26 ravin shot less then 20 times I was making sure scope was still online after sitting a couple weeks during gun season . after cocking and properly insuring nock was set I fired when both ends of string attached to the cams snapped does anyone have a opinion of what may have caused this?

Did the arrow shoot normal? Was it a ravin arrow? Did it have a 100 grain field tip?

Yes on the ravin arrow and tip but I have no idea where the arrow went.. I couldn't find it anywhere near the target.,
Welcome to the boards. :)
Welcome to the boards. Post that in the Ravin threads and maybe you will get opinions from Ravin owners faster! Sorry about your bow....
I wonder if the string was bad? Just a thought.
It very well could have been .. I wouldn't think a brand new bow right out of the box less than 20 shots on it would be bad , but stuff happens thanks ..
