I posted some pics of my parker cranking device i put on my scorpyd velocity and mentioned i replaced the rope with material i bought from west marine in califoria. I have had some questions from people wanting to know what the material was, so here is what the material is.
SAMSON ROPE AmSteel Dyneema® AS-78 Single Braid
IT has fantastic breaking strength my 3/16 i use has a breaking strength of 5400 # so if you need replacement rope for any kind of cocker i highly reccomend this stuff.

I've used it before and it worked very well as a replacement cord on one of my first TenPoints with the Acudraw.
Because of the larger diameter I couldn't get as much on the spool and I had to manually pull back the string an inch or so to attach the claws but other than that it worked great and never exhibited any wear whatsoever. I purchased it on Amazon in a smaller amount.

Yep. I use Amsteel for the rope cockers, spectra rope (thinner) for my C2 crank.

I need to replace the rope on my Excalibur stringers. Any suggestions. Tried paracord and some Napa pullcord rope...to stretchy.

this is what i use for rope cockers winch cables and pull ropes for treestands tie off ropes for tree stands just about anything haven't had any problems with stretch at all.

Thanks. Just went and ordered some to replace the rope on my stringers. Had one of these stringer ropes break when adjusting brace height on my Axe. This will prevent it from happening again.
