I'm new to the crossbow scene, having bought a Ten Point RS410 Seige. It came with 6 Ten Point EVO-X Center Punch 16 Carbon arrows, 16" with Alpha-Nocks .001

My instructions say that the minimum finished arrow weight has to be no less than 370 grains.

All the documentation that came with the bow leads me to believe that it was imperative to use these specific nocks.

Nothing was said about any substitute carbon arrows.

So my question is, are there any other brands of after market carbon arrows that can be used with these nocks? Or am I obligated to use only the EVO-X Center Punch 16 Carbon arrows? They tend to make you think that you have no alternate choices when it comes to bolts for the RS410 Siege.

You can have other arrows made and use them from other manufacturers, but for your warranty to stay intact, they will need to be fitted with alpha nocks. If you call south shore archery they can fix you up.

If they allow you to use 370 gr arrows then any arrow above that weight is acceptable. I use a Bloodsport arrow in my NXT which is 410 fps with the factory tested arrow. The nock is a whole different story.

I shoot non TP arrows and nocks in my Viper. I know I’m a rebel! However I will only shoot the best arrows and accessories and the original alpha design is not the best imo. I pray the new design is a great improvement. I shoot custom 19” dragon claw shafts with versa nocks for targets and Lumenock GTC .300 for hunting.
