small splinter

After my practice yesterday, everything is still on point. I was just checking everything afterwards and noticed a small splinter on the left limb of my Matrix 330. I'm going on my last hunt of the year this Friday. I guess I will tear it down when I get back and send it back. I'm guessing I should after the hunt, because I'm sure will tell me
not to shoot it anymore. This is my only bow, so it's hunt with it or throw the arrows at the deer.
I've heard of several micro's limbs going bad but not the matrix.

Think you just need to take picture of the crack and fill in Rma they ship right away

Yep, send them a picture of the splinter and they will fix you up and probably not make you ship your limbs back. A splinter on an Excal can be reason to ask for new limbs but it should be perfectly safe to still shoot. My only splinter was almost 4" long and I shot those limbs almost 2 years before getting them replaced.

Glue it down or pluck it off and sand the limb you should be good. Robertyb and Lewism are correct take pictures and filled out RMA they will fix you up.
Thanks guys for the help and advice. Will take some pics today.
I called Excal and talked to Dawn. She said take some pics of the splinters and email them to her. I did that and within 30 minutes, she emailed back. She said through the old limbs away, new limbs are on there way. Dawn is a GEM in my book. Customer service like that is hard to beat.

If you can order a spare set just in case something goes wrong. I have two sets for my axe 340 Just in case something happens.
Good luck.

I even have a spare set for my long limb Exomax. Hunting time is too precious to take chances because anything can happen.

Or.....buy a cheap backup bow and let Excal pay for your limbs if/when they ever crack/break again. You can get a Sniper for @ $200 and have another bow to play around with or use if it ever becomes necessary. Excalibur has as good a warranty as anybody.:)
Installed my new limbs and only had a small adjustment in up and down and windage. The funny and good thing was, now it shoots fixed blade BH's POI with field points. The Montec G5 100 gr. shoots dead on. They used to shoot low and left a couple inches.
